David was commenting about IFFs and paint programs.

In my opinion, if your really serious about LW and graphics, you
really should buy a program for the job (eg. Photoshop, etc.).  I
know that it is expensive.  I haven't purchased the full version of
PhotoShop for that reason.  I have PhotoShop LE on the PC which does
NOT save IFFs.  Bummer!

However, I have found a great program for converting just about any
format.  It is called Paint Shop Pro.  I have yet to find a format
that it won't load.  It's shareware!  Try it.

There are similar shareware offerings available for Macs too.
